*The BET Awards have unveiled a packed lineup of performers for the 2026 ceremony, bringing together some of the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B, and soul for one of the year’s most anticipated music events.
The awards show will take place June 28 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where artists from across the entertainment industry will gather to celebrate Black excellence in music, television, film, and sports.
Leading the newly announced performer lineup is Cardi B, who enters the ceremony with additional momentum after securing the most nominations of any artist this year. The rapper earned six nominations, putting her ahead of the competition heading into the live broadcast.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, BET also confirmed performances from Doechii, Don Toliver, Tems, Kehlani, Common, and Jill Scott. The lineup spans multiple generations and genres, pairing chart-topping stars with established artists who have helped shape contemporary music.

Additional performers include KWN, French Montana, Max B, Queen Latifah, Rick Ross, T.I., and the husband-and-wife duo The War and Treaty.
Behind Cardi B’s six nominations, Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist each earned five nods. Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, and Latto followed with four nominations apiece.
The BET Awards have long distinguished themselves through high-profile live performances, surprise collaborations, and career-spanning tributes. This year’s lineup suggests the tradition will continue, with a mix of veteran stars and newer voices set to appear throughout the evening.
