*St. Louis native and best-selling author and award-winning civil rights attorney Areva Martin returned to her hometown of St. Louis this week to host A Pink Pump Affair, inviting women across the city of St. Louis to attend a live taping of the new season of her award-winning podcast and talk show The Special Report With Areva Martin at the High Low Listening Room.

In a riveting conversation on the power of the Black female vote, Areva was joined by St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones, President & CEO of the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission Vanessa Cooksey, and Emmy Award-winning anchor Sharon Reed.
It was a fabulously fun evening filled with stimulating conversation, education, and empowerment that will inspire women to get out and vote, activate voters in their communities, volunteer for campaigns, and become more civically engaged.

Guests snacked on food, enjoyed coffee by local and black-owned coffeehouse Northwest Coffee, and also go signed copies of Areva’s book!
