*Arby’s is expanding its menu with a bold new addition — Steak Nuggets, available nationwide for a limited time.
The fast-food chain’s website notes that the bite-sized pieces are “smoked, and tender, made by the same meat-obsessed people who perfected roast beef.” Arby’s Steak Nuggets are crafted from hand-cut steak seasoned with garlic and pepper, then seared and smoked for a rich, smoky flavor.
As Food and Wine reports, this marks the first time Arby’s has served steak in a nugget format. The chain aims to reinvent what it means to “nugget” by introducing steak as a portable, high-quality protein option.

“Who doesn’t love tender and savory steak? But, until now, it’s been inconvenient to eat, particularly on the go,” said Jeff Baker, Chief Marketing Officer at Arby’s. “That’s why we created this new innovative product. Two of America’s favorite foods–nuggets and steak–combined to create Arby’s Steak Nuggets. No knife needed, fork optional.”
Customers can savor Steak Nuggets in three distinct styles. The entrée option offers five or nine pieces of steak, accompanied by Hickory BBQ sauce. The Steak Nugget Sandwich features seared beef topped with Havarti cheese, crunchy onions, pickles, and mayo, all nestled in a toasted bun. For a richer experience, the Steak Nugget Bowl combines the nuggets with white cheddar mac and cheese, garnished with crispy onions.
Early buzz on social media helped build anticipation and sparked lighthearted reactions from fans — one commenter wrote, “the urge to go get this and put it over a niceee Caesar salad.”

Another X user added, “Arby’s is always two menu items away from inventing something chaotic and delicious. Steak nuggets in a sandwich sounds illegal but I’d still try it just to see what kind of madness they cooked up.” A third person noted, “Arby’s is cornering the gym bro market with this one.”
“We did a small local test for Steak Nuggets in May, and our guests went absolutely crazy so we knew we needed to bring them to a national audience,” an Arby’s spokesperson told ABC News.
“Right out the gate, we’ve seen content of guests already ordering in our drive-thrus to get a first taste of Steak Nuggets.”
