*Applebee’s is reviving one of its most recognizable drink promotions just in time for summer.
The restaurant chain announced that its DOLLARITA will return to participating locations nationwide beginning July 1. The $1 margarita will remain available for dine-in guests ages 21 and older throughout July.
According to Applebee’s, the promotion marks the return of the discounted cocktail after two years of customer requests. The drink features tequila, triple sec, and lime.
The DOLLARITA first gained widespread attention as a limited-time promotion and has since become one of the brand’s most talked-about menu offerings. Applebee’s said guests repeatedly asked for the drink’s return, prompting the company to bring it back for another run this summer.

“This July, we’re bringing it back – by overwhelming demand – for just $1, giving guests 21+ the perfect way to celebrate summer with unbeatable value at Applebee’s,” Michelle Chin, chief marketing officer at Applebee’s, said in a statement.
Chin also highlighted the drink’s place in the chain’s history.
“An American original, the DOLLARITA has become a true cultural icon,” she said.
Guests can also pair the returning cocktail with Applebee’s “2 for $25” promotion, which remains one of the chain’s signature meal deals.
The DOLLARITA promotion begins July 1 and runs through the end of the month.
