*Apple TV+ has released the trailer for “Mr. Scorsese,” a new five-part documentary event from award-winning filmmaker Rebecca Miller. The series promises an intimate look at one of cinema’s most celebrated figures.
“Mr. Scorsese” draws from never-before-seen footage and rare interviews, offering what Apple TV+ describes as a “cinematic portrait of a man through the lens of his work.” The trailer showcases Martin Scorsese reflecting on themes of morality, human nature, and the balance between good and evil that have defined his career.

According to the news release, the docuseries features exclusive access to Scorsese’s private archives and includes extensive conversations with the director himself. It also incorporates insights from friends, family, and collaborators such as Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, Thelma Schoonmaker, Steven Spielberg, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster, Paul Schrader, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, Jay Cocks, Rodrigo Prieto, as well as Scorsese’s children, wife Helen Morris, and childhood friends.
The project traces Scorsese’s journey from his student films at New York University to his groundbreaking contributions to modern cinema. The series examines how his personal history shaped his artistic vision and how each film challenged audiences with its originality.
“Mr. Scorsese” was developed by Expanded Media and Round Films in association with LBI Entertainment and Moxie Pictures. The project is executive produced by Miller, Damon Cardasis, Cindy Tolan, Rick Yorn, Christopher Donnelly, and Julie Yorn, with Ron Burkle serving as producer and Robert Fernandez and Patrick Walmsley as co-executive producers.
