*Tuesday (02-03-26) at the Apple TV 2026 Press Day, the stars and creators of “Lucky” took the stage to reveal the premiere date, teaser video, and first look at the limited drama starring Golden Globe Award winner, SAG Award winner, and Emmy Award nominee Anya Taylor-Joy (Lucky), who also serves as executive producer.
The seven-episode series also stars Annette Bening (Priscilla), Timothy Olyphant (John), Academy Award nominee Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr., and William Fichtner. “Lucky” is based on the New York Times bestselling novel and Reese’s Book Club pick of the same name by Marissa Stapley. When a multi-million-dollar heist goes sideways, con artist Lucky (Anya Taylor-Joy) is forced to go on the run. Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, Lucky must fight for her life — and a way out.
“These two women are more similar than they would like to admit. Priscilla sees somebody who has the same intelligence as she does but is actively looking for another way,” shared Taylor-Joy about Lucky’s relationship with Priscilla. “She feels a sense of both regret and an inability to see her life in any other way.
So, the fact that Lucky questions it makes her question her own life. [We were lucky to have] Annette playing this character. Everything she does, she elevates. She makes Priscilla into somebody formidable but strangely lovable at the same time. And what I find very interesting about Lucky’s relationship with John is – not having anything firm to hold onto for yourself.

“Lucky” will make its global debut on Apple TV with the first two episodes on Wednesday, July 15, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through August 19.
