*T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, co-hosts of “Good Morning America 3,” are said to be “supported and loved” by their colleagues at ABC amid reports about their affair.
We reported previously that a source tells PEOPLE Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, did not begin dating until after they separated from their spouses. The couple shut down their Instagram accounts after photos surfaced Wednesday of them getting cozy during a vacation in upstate New York.
When Robach and Holmes arrived to work together to tape “GMA 3” amid reports of their relationship, an insider tells Page Six they returned as a couple, as if “nothing happened.”
“While producers had been freaking out and having meetings about whether it was right to put them back on air again together, they showed up as a couple and said they were ready and totally fine to go on air,” a source claims.

“They’re not ashamed. They’re two consenting adults, who ended up loving each other,” one source told Page Six.
Insider claims Robach and Holmes did not begin their passionate romance until after their spouses were no longer a factor. Robach is married to actor Andrew Shue and Holmes’ wife is attorney Marilee Fiebig. Roback and Holmes have been married to their spouses for 12 years.
Holmes and Fiebig have allegedly had marital problems throughout the years, including rumors that he cheated on her. Insiders claim he moved out for good about “four months ago.”
“The only person he could lean on was Amy when he was having trouble with his marriage again recently. Amy was the first person he reached out to. No one knew he was getting a divorce until yesterday,” a source said.
Meanwhile, a separate source told Page Six that Robach and Shue “had a few bumps, and it’s always felt like they were exploring avenues.” Their marriage ended “about six months ago.”
“They were really close and tried to make it work … She was very sad about her marriage ending. It didn’t seem like it was over cheating,” another source said.
“This was two consenting adults who were each separated. They both broke up with their spouses in August within weeks of each other,” an insider tells PEOPLE about Holmes and Robach. “The relationship didn’t start until after that.”
“They hadn’t seen each other since Tuesday. It’s not how they wanted [news of their relationship] to come out, but it’s also kind of a relief,” an insider tells Page Six.
Another source said the couple has been “good friends for eight years.”
