Alander is a businessman. Aside from his radio station, Pulliam is an author, politician, and film producer. He produced the BET Awards in 2016, 2018, and 2019; Black Rugrats in 2021; Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw in 2019, and Family Matters TV in 2020. In 2024 became a candidate for President of the United States running on a “A Man for Change” campaign. His books include “Navigating the Entertainment Business,” “Alander Pulliam,” “My Spot Ain’t Yours: Stop Hating,” “Ghetto Grace,” and “The Warrior Mindset.”
“I’ve been in the radio field ½ my life…had a show on different stations,” Alander said to me when I asked.
The Texas native started on radio as an intern, then during Covid, he went up in the ranks until his focus went bigger.
“In Atlanta, I was on 107.3. I wanted my own…representing what my grandmother wanted and listened to,” he said about his radio station.

Pulliam’s 98.8 FM station consists of various live and recorded radio shows, podcasts, and new artist reviews.
