Alan Ritchson, the 6’2″ star of Amazon’s hit series “Reacher,” is at the center of a real-life brawl after video surfaced showing the actor beating the living crap out of a neighbor in a quiet Nashville suburb—while two children, reportedly his own, sat nearby on motorbikes.
The Viral Beatdown Video
The clip, obtained by TMZ, shows Ritchson going toe-to-toe with a man identified as Ronnie Taylor. The exchange quickly escalates, with Ritchson landing multiple blows as Taylor crumples to the ground. The entire scene plays out with two young kids on motorbikes just feet away, watching the chaos unfold.
It’s the kind of scene you’d expect to see on Reacher—not in a residential neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon.

What Sparked the Fight?
According to Taylor, the confrontation didn’t come out of nowhere. He claims it began Saturday when Ritchson was riding his green Kawasaki motorcycle through the well-to-do Nashville suburb at excessive speed, revving the engine and disturbing the peace. Taylor admits flipping the actor off and says Ritchson returned the gesture.
The next day, around noon, Ritchson allegedly came roaring through the neighborhood again—this time with the two youngsters on their own motorbikes. Taylor says he approached and asked, “Can you f***ing stop this please.”
That’s when things turned physical.
Taylor told police that Ritchson punched him in the face and kicked him, then fell off his bike, got back up, and tried to run him off. He claims the actor hit him “at least four times” while he was on the ground, leaving him with bruises and swelling. Taylor says he did not go to the hospital.
Ritchson’s Side: A Different Story
Sources close to the actor tell a different version of events. According to them, Ritchson did not instigate the fight. Instead, they claim Taylor pushed the actor off his bike twice before the video-recorded beatdown even began—suggesting the now-viral footage captures only the tail end of a longer altercation.
Law enforcement sources confirm there is an ongoing investigation stemming from the incident, but no arrests have been made. Reps for Ritchson have not yet responded to requests for comment.
Who Is Ronnie Taylor?
Taylor, the man on the receiving end of Ritchson’s fists, appeared on TMZ Live Monday to share his side. He insisted he had no idea the man confronting him was a famous Hollywood actor—he just wanted his neighbor to slow down before someone got hurt.
Ironically, Taylor ended up being the one who got hurt. Badly.
He told TMZ he went to police and reported the incident, and neighbors reportedly witnessed the entire exchange. His face still shows the battle scars from what he describes as an epic beatdown.
