*Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has acquired the rights to the 2002 crime drama “Paid in Full” and is reimagining it as a television series.
In an Instagram post on September 8, he shared his vision, stating, “I now have the rights to PAID IN FULL, im developing it into a premium Tv show.”
Billboard reports that Cam’ron, who portrayed Rico in the original film, will join Jackson as an executive producer. The announcement has sparked interest from artists like Maxo Kream and Conway the Machine, with the latter commenting, “U know they been callin me chine Hackman aka CONathan Majors lately my n—a.”
The original “Paid in Full,” directed by Charles Stone III and produced by Dame Dash and Jay-Z, starred Wood Harris and Mekhi Phifer alongside Cam’ron. A cult classic set in New York City, it draws inspiration from the lives of drug dealers Azie Faison, Rich Porter, and Alpo Martinez. Jackson hinted at the series’ appeal, noting, “if you like God Father of Harlem your gonna love this.” He also invited collaboration, adding, “if you want in get at him I’m out of the country.”

In a separate venture, Jackson is launching a true crime series titled “50 Ways to Catch a Killer” on Fox Nation, premiering September 16. The six-episode show, produced through G-Unit Film & Television and Lionsgate Alternative Television, explores murder cases and the evidence that solved them.
Jackson emphasized the project’s authenticity, saying, “True crime is powerful because it’s real cases, real people, and real justice.” He added, “With this series, I want viewers to experience the intensity of these investigations and the relentless work it takes to uncover the truth.”
Each episode of “50 Ways to Catch a Killer” highlights a critical clue or expert insight that led to a case’s resolution, with updates provided at the end. Fox News’ chief digital officer, Jason Klarman, praised Jackson’s involvement, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson to bring his distinctive voice and perspective to this gripping investigative series.”
The series will release two episodes weekly on Fox Nation’s video-on-demand platform through September.
