*Kelly Rowland and Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith, famously known as a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, are set to star in “Relationship Goals,” a romantic comedy based on Michael Todd’s New York Times bestseller, “Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex.”
The film from Amazon MGM Studios explores finding true, lasting love and maintaining healthy relationships and also stars Robin Thede and Annie Gonzalez, Deadline reports. The book, inspired by Todd’s viral sermon series, spent 13 weeks on the bestseller list and debuted at No. 1 on Amazon. Rowland and Bart Lipton will executive produce, while DeVon Franklin will produce and Linda Mendoza will direct.
In related news, Mathematics and the Wu-Tang Clan are back with a highly anticipated new project, “Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman,” set for release in April as part of the Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues… collection.
While not officially a Wu-Tang Clan album, the project is led by Mathematics and features all nine Wu-Tang members, along with guest appearances from hip-hop legends Kool G Rap, Nicole Bus, and Benny the Butcher, according to a news release.
As the longtime producer and DJ for Wu-Tang, Mathematics continues to carry the group’s signature sound forward with this latest offering.

Released through RZA’s 36 Chambers label, the album will be available as a limited-edition 2LP vinyl with only 5,000 copies, each featuring a unique, one-of-a-kind cover using Macroverse’s Mixprint technology. This marks Wu-Tang’s first full LP with all members since 2014 and is expected to be a must-have for hip-hop fans, vinyl collectors, and art enthusiasts alike.
“Mathematics adds another chamber to the saga collection, following his last solid outing….proud of him, ” said Method Man “This one looks to be another banger for the history books!!”
“Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman” will be available exclusively at participating Record Store Day retailers on April 12. A digital version will also drop this spring.
