*Sad news for fans of Amazon Prime Video’s “Harlem.” LoveBScott reports the show’s upcoming third season will be its last.
Starring Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson, and Shoniqua Shandai, “Harlem” centers on four girlfriends in their thirties who navigate the challenges of life and love in Harlem after meeting while attending New York University.
News of the comedy’s final season comes as the trailer for the season was released. On board for the sendoff are cast newcomers Kofi Siriboe, Logan Browning, Robin Givens, and Gail Bean in recurring roles as well as Whoopi Goldberg, who is expected to return to the series.
Detailing what viewers can expect from season 3, LoveBScott noted it will “follow the core four women on the precipice of change like never before.
Whether it be motherhood, singlehood, sisterhood, complicated career journeys, or even more complicated families, our stylish and ambitious best girlfriends strive to finally choose themselves above all else.”

“Harlem” creator Tracy Oliver had nothing but love for her show’s “loyal fan base” as she voiced her thanks to Amazon and those who supported the series, which she deemed “an incredible journey.”
“I’m beyond grateful to the whole team at Amazon for giving me the chance of a lifetime to tell these four Black women’s stories. And to shoot it in the city I love: Harlem,” Oliver shared.
“It’s been an incredible journey. I’m honored to see the impact it’s made in the culture as well as the impact it’s had on all of us who’ve been blessed to work on it. A huge thank you to everyone who’s watched the show,” she continued. “I’m excited to finally share our best season yet.”
The third and final season of “Harlem” is set to premiere on January 23, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video, Deadline mentioned.
