The Drive: It’s a smooth, fun ride! I drove my mother around Los Angeles and we both enjoyed the quiet cabin on both the street and highway. Comfort and ease is the best way to describe the drive. From its smooth transitions and acceleration to handling the road’s imperfections, the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 Limited AWD was a pleasant experience. Drivers can enjoy a few different driver settings including Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow. So, I hadn’t driven an Ioniq 5 in a while and learned that the charging port is now compatible with Tesla charging ports. This might give some pause, but the great thing about it is, there’s lots of fast charging stations around. We got a lot of bang for our charge, averaging 300+ miles on a full charge without AC and other devices going.
The Tech: 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 Limited AWD is equipped with premium tech. We already talked about the Tesla charging port. The battery is 80% charged in under 20 minutes with the superchargers.
