*Welp. Just like that it’s the end of the road for Porsha Williams and her husband Simon Guobadia, so says the latest update from PEOPLE. The news outlet revealed that the “RHOA” star has officially filed for divorce from her spouse of 15 months in Atlanta.
The timing of this announcement has fueled speculation, with swirling rumors regarding Guobadia’s U.S. citizenship status. However, a source has clarified to PEOPLE that the reason for their separation is an “ongoing matter” and is “unrelated to recent allegations involving Simon’s past.”
As of this posting, we have no idea what that “ongoing matter” is.
It was just last week that the couple uploaded pics and a video of their trip to Dubai. Porsha is seen wearing a green bikini and enjoying her luxurious Valentine’s Day roses. Simon is seen smiling and riding in a golf cart with the gifts, as he is en route to deliver them. The last thing you would think was that a divorce filing was around the corner.

The love story of Williams, 42, and Guobadia, 59, began in April 2021, culminating in a whirlwind romance that led to an engagement less than a month later.
The couple made their union official in a dual celebration in Atlanta in November 2022. The festivities included a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony, followed by an American ceremony the next day.

Dispelling false rumors in a social media clip, she playfully asserted, “Who said that? Porsha Williams coming back to Real Housewives of Atlanta. That’s false.
