*Martin Lawrence‘s reps say he’s doing just fine after fans hit up social media to express concern about his health following his appearance at the 75th Emmys on Monday.
Lawrence reunited with his “Martin” co-stars during the ceremony, and fans noticed that his speech appeared slurred while the cast presented the award for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
Per TMZ, “… sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … ML’s totally fine — in fact, we’re told he just recently finished filming the latest “Bad Boys.” Not just that, but our sources say he’s also hitting the road this summer for his latest comedy tour. In other words, tip-top shape,” the outlet writes.
According to the report, “… some thought he may have been slurring his words and taking long pauses during the Emmys Martin reunion, this was actually because of a technical glitch with the teleprompter.”

Meanwhile, we reported earlier that Sony Pictures has set a release date for “Bad Boys 4” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the hotly anticipated fourth installment in the beloved action franchise will be released on June 14.
Last year, Smith and Lawrence confirmed they’re reprising their roles as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. The actors shared a video on Instagram that was captioned: “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”
Smith took to Instagram in February 2023 and shared a video of him getting into a car and telling fans… “Yo, I’ve got an announcement. Y’all better stop scrolling. Seriously.”
He then headed to Lawrence’s house, where the actor opened the door and asked, “It’s about that time?” Both stars then say in unison, “Bad boys 4 life”.
