Throughout the performance, Raphael Saadiq, Dwayne Wiggins, and Timothy Christian Riley engaged with the audience, sharing anecdotes about their upbringing in Oakland and the gospel artists who influenced their musical journey. Saadiq specifically mentioned legendary gospel singer Al Green as one of his biggest inspirations.

As the lights dimmed,  the group took the audience on a journey through their greatest hits, including “It Never Rains In Southern California” and the touching love song “Anniversary.”  The soulful ballads continued with songs like “Dance Tonight” and “Ask of You.” The crowd passionately sang along during the pauses, showing their deep connection to the music.

The concert also included a tribute to the late film director John Singleton, a close friend of Saadiq’s, who featured Tony! Toni! Tone!’s music in his movie Boyz N The Hood. The iconic R&B group performed one of the film’s songs, “Me and You,” as a heartfelt tribute.

The show concluded with a resounding performance of their iconic hit, “Feels Good.”  As the crowd offered a standing ovation, the three embraced on stage, expressing their gratitude to fans in the packed venue for their unwavering support.
