*A former employee of rapper T.I.’s Trap City Cafe in Atlanta claims the father of actress Storm Reid is troublesome.

A woman named Chinyere Aniagoh took to social media to recount when Rodney Reid visited the restaurant with an unnamed woman and refused to pay his tab.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Aniagoh explained in a TikTok video, “Around midnight, [Rodney] walks in with a beautiful woman. They sit down at the bar. She’s cool, she’s ordering food. He orders his usual: an ‘Old Fashioned,’ which I bring to him. [The woman’s] food comes out. We’re talking, she thinks I’m funny–we’re having a good, little time. [Rodney] orders another round, and then he’s trying to order drinks for other people. Good thing I kept their own tabs to themselves! And we’re continuing the night.”

According to the TikToker, the manager discounted Reid’s check to show appreciation for his continued support. However, once it came time to settle the bill, Reid departed the joint.

Aniagoh said her supervisor rushed out to speak with Reid, who assured him he was simply walking his date to her car and would return to pay the bill. Instead, he ultimately left the establishment altogether.

Aniagoh said, “[My manager] comes back about five minutes later, you guys, [and] says that [Rodney] left.”

The “higher-up manager” later told the server that it was her responsibility to cover the bill since Reid was her customer. After threatening to call the police, her supervisors voided the check to settle the dispute.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Aniagoh no longer works at the restaurant.
