This detail has emerged as the bitter divorce battle rages on for Richard and his ex Lakeisha Graham. According to RadarOnline, Williams’ son never wanted his father to marry her.

Williams met Graham, who is 37 years younger than him, at a tennis tournament in 2010. The former couple shares one child, a son. An insider told The Sun that Lakeisha used to work at a club called Rolexx in Miami under the name Angel. Richard’s son, Chavoita LeSane, has confirmed this.

“As far as me learning Lakeisha was a stripper, dancer, or what have you, I never look down on anyone for whatever their profession or life, career, or goals are. It never bothered me. The only thing I wanted to make sure of was that they are a great person [for] my dad, that’s all I cared about,” Chavoita said, according to The Sun.

As EUR previously reported, when Richard filed for divorce in 2017, he accused Lakeisha of stealing his Social Security check, drinking herself under the table, and forging his signature on official papers.

He also claims Lakeisha deeded one of his houses to herself by faking his handwriting on the paperwork and switched ownership of several cars. Richard alleged she forged his signature on an application for a $152,000 mortgage she eventually obtained.

At the time, Sandy Becher, who was representing Lakeisha, called Richard’s petition “outrageous.”

When asked if he thinks Lakeisha is a gold digger, Chavoita said, “I don’t know what her intentions were in the beginning, but in my opinion, it does not look right.”

Williams was married to Serena and Venus’ mother, Oracene Price, until 2002. That divorce brought out allegations of domestic violence.
