*NeNe Leakes‘ son Bryson Bryant was released from Gwinnett County Jail on October 5 after posting a $6,100 bond following his fentanyl arrest in July.

We reported previously that Bryant was to remain jailed until next year after his arrest on July 3 for felony possession of Fentanyl and a misdemeanor for loitering/prowling, RadarOnline reported. At the time of his arrest, he gave officers the name of his younger brother, Brentt Leakes. After police discovered his real identity, Bryant, 33, was hit with an additional charge of “giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcement officer.”

When Bryant’s name was run in the system, officers saw he was “wanted for probation violation” in a separate case, per RadarOnline. He initially wasn’t eligible for release until January 3, 2024.

Per RadarOnline.com, Bryson’s bond breaks down like this — “$1,850 for the loitering charge, $1,850 for giving law enforcement a false name, and $2,400 for possession of a scheduled II controlled substance,” the outlet writes.

When NeNe appeared on Carlos Kings’ podcast, she was asked if “Real Housewives of Atlanta” contributed to her son’s drug problems, she replied, “I don’t think it helped.”

Bryson was originally slated to be released from jail in 2024 after violating his probation in a separate case, but he was released nearly three months early.

The court has warned Bryson of the serious consequences he will face if he misses an upcoming court date related to his July arrest.

“If you fail to appear, your bond will be forfeited and a bench warrant will be issued for your re-arrest,” the court documents read, per RadarOnline. “It is your responsibility to keep informed as to your court dates. It is your responsibility to keep the court advised on any changes to your address.”
