Michelle Obama Joins WSJ Future of Everything Festival

*Former first lady Michelle Obama will deliver remarks on day two of The Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival next month.

The event is taking place in person at Spring Studios in New York and virtually. Obama will be featured on May 3. The Future of Everything Festival explores “the extraordinary technologies, ideas and people shaping what comes next,” per the festival website.  

As WSJ reports, the festival “features top innovators, executives and policy makers weighing in on topics including the impact of proliferating generative AI on society, productivity in a transformed labor market, the factors contributing to a global economy at an inflection point, and how the ways we eat, dress, travel and consume will change in the years ahead,” the outlet writes. 

Rapper Fat Joe, Mayor Eric Adams, Google DeepMind co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Demis Hassabis, Ford CEO Jim Farley, Yolett “Coach Yo” McPhee-McCuin (Ole Miss women’s basketball head coach), Sunshine Products co-founder and CEO Marissa Mayer and Sara Nelson, international president of the Association of Flight Attendants, are also slated to speak about a myriad of related topics during the festival.

The Future of Everything Festival runs from May 2-4. Per the official website, “You’ll experience unscripted interviews, immersive storytelling, cutting-edge technologies, and the opportunity to connect with other curious minds.”

A virtual pass costs $250, while a one-day in-person ticket costs $999 and the 2-day in-person general pass is $1499 (at the time of the post). Online access to the festival is free for WSJ subscribers.
