*Kanye West’s ‘wife’ Bianca Censori is reportedly the daughter of a notorious Australian gangster.
According to The Daily Mail, Elia ‘Leo’ Censori, Bianca’s father, served hard jail time after being convicted of possessing heroin in 1982. His brother Eris Censori was also a gangland killer once dubbed ‘Melbourne’s Al Capone.’ The elder brother, Edmondo, has convictions for violence in Victoria, including assaulting police, stealing, and threatening.
In 1991, Leo’s former wife Faye Glascott told Herald Sun reporter John Silvester about his illegal gambling empire. Leo, she claimed, was involved in a cartel that controlled a large portion of Melbourne’s illegal gambling industry during the 1980s. According to Glascott, her former husband made a fortune gambling illegally.
“I have seen the money,” she told Silvester.
“Leo can stack money better than a bank,” she said.
There were rolls of money – amounting to $40,000 – hidden around their Alphington home, Glascott said, including $60,000 on their coffee table, Daily Mail reports.
Glascott described her former husband as a “heavy criminal figure” in her 1991 interview.
“The police should organize a big raid and confiscate every single machine, every single one,” Glascott said at the time.
“’If they took all the machines there would be nothing for Leo to operate. You would wipe him out,” she added.
Australian Federal Police found heroin in his kitchen during a raid. Leo served two years of his five-year sentence for drug charges.
“I was fighting with him because he was going into the kitchen to measure things using my utensils. I didn’t like that stuff in my home,” Glascott told Silvester.
“It was a nightmare,” she said.
Leo still resides in Alphington with his current wife, Alexandra, who is the mother of Bianca and her sisters, Angelina and Alyssia.
West, who now goes by ‘Ye,’ recently spent time with his in-laws in Tokyo. Bianca, 28, and the 46-year-old rapper unofficially tied the knot in January – two months after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized.
