This Quiet Storm gem follows up on Britt’s star turns with “Butterflies feat. Will Downing” and “Summer Love feat. Gerald Albright & Kashan.”
Soul Jazz Singer/Trumpeter Johnny Britt is excited by the release of “Ocean Waves” which continues the momentum of the diverse album that spawned Britt’s first #1 single as a solo artist. “I’ve been looking forward to releasing this track, it’s such a vibe” shares Johnny.
“Ocean Waves” features Kansas City’s bass phenom Blair Bryant and was written, arranged, and produced by Johnny Britt, mixed by Nils, and mastered by Ron Boustead at Resolution Mastering. The forthcoming companion music video for “Ocean Waves” was filmed in the Caribbean in the British Virgin Islands.
Returning from a busy summer on tour, Johnny Britt played in front of 100k+ people, mesmerizing each audience with his crystal clear, soulful vocals and sensual muted trumpet which is displayed on the new single, “Ocean Waves”. Britt was featured with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Little Anthony as part of the “Happy Together” Tour.
