*After more than 17 years of marriage, Jada PInkett Smith’s brother, Caleeb Pinkett, is traveling a road his famous sister isn’t trying to go on. The road to divorce.
TMZ cites new legal documents it obtained that were filed by Caleeb’s wife, Patricia Pinkett. The site reveals the former couple who have been separated since Feb. 28, 2020.
The cause for Patricia officially calling it quits with Caleeb, an actor and producer? Irreconcilable differences.
The pair’s parting comes years after they married in September 2006. Caleeb and Patricia share one child together, an 11-year-old daughter.
Patricia is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the daughter as well as spousal support for herself and the end of any ability the court has to award Caleeb spousal support.
Like Will Smith and Jada, who recently disclosed that she and the “Emancipation” star have spent seven years living separate lives, the Pinketts have a longstanding separation. But unlike Jada PInkett Smith’s brother, Caleeb, the power couple, according to Jada, will not copy Caleeb in getting divorced.
