*Jada Pinkett Smith sat down with famed life coach Iyanla Vanzant to speak about her “healing journey” and her new bestselling memoir “Worthy.”

“You know, being the heroine of my own story was me coming to terms with every aspect of it,” Pinkett Smith said on Vanzant’s podcast, The R Spot, Black Enterprise reports.

“Coming to terms with my light and my shadow. I was just as much afraid of my light as I was of my shadow, to be honest. And realizing that it is my relationship with myself and the great supreme that is the most important, and was the thing that had been missing all along.”

During the recent press run for her book, Pinkett Smith dropped several bombshells; most surprising was the reveal that she and Will have been separated since 2016. She also claims Tupac proposed to her, and Chris Rock once asked her out on a date.

The memoir also touches on the infamous Oscars slap at the Academy Awards in 2022.

“I thought, ‘This is a skit,’ ” Pinkett Smith previously said of the moment when Will Smith smacked Chris Rock on stage after the comedian cracked a joke about Jada’s bald head, People reports. “I was like, ‘There’s no way that Will hit him. It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn’t a skit.”

When they were alone after the show, Jada asked Will, “Are you okay? ”

During her conversation with Iyanla, the Red Table Talk host said she took pride in “developing an intimate relationship with myself,” adding, “… the great supreme is when I really got to see my life move in the direction that I wanted it to move in,” she said. “And realized that is me contacting the heroine within myself, to take the power of my life back.”

Meanwhile, we reported previously that the former “A Different World” star confirmed her popular Facebook Watch series will return next year.

“The Red Table is coming back,” Pinkett Smith said when responding to a fan during a TalkShopLive stream in partnership with Good Housekeeping on October 14, Revolt reports. “We are in the works of a situation right now. So next year,” Pinkett Smith said. “We could not do the Red Table while I was writing this book and while Willow was on her music journey, so we have decided to come back next year.”
