Subway Vigilante Daniel Penny Has Raised Almost $2M for Defense Fund – Sasha Obama Graduates USC | PicsVideo

*It’s EUR’s Social Heat – the Sunday edition. Here’s one that’s got some folks hot and bothered. Forbes magazine says an online fundraiser for Daniel Penny raised more than almost $2 million just days after the 24-year-old former Marine was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the killing of 30-year-old Jordan Neely. The fundraiser was supported by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Twitter. DeSantis referred to Daniel as a “Good Samaritan.” Reports state the fundraiser, hosted by law firm Raiser & Kenniff, PC, raised funds to pay for Daniel’s legal fees, stating fees “incurred from any criminal charges filed,” any future civil lawsuits, and expenses related to his defense. Any additional proceeds will be donated to a mental health advocacy program in New York City, per the fundraiser. Meantime, as of this posting, a GoFundMe has raised only about $120K for Jordan Neely’s funeral and family expenses

Congrats to Miss Sascha. Yep, our forever baby girl/sis Sasha Obama is now a college graduate. The ceremony happen this past Friday at USC where she graduated with a degree in sociology, and the former First Family, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Malia Obama were all in attendance to see her walk across the stage. Apparently, Wendy Williams had hopes of becoming a “Real Housewife.” But, as we all know, it didn’t happen. In Andy Cohen’s new book, “The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up,” Williams once pitched herself to join Bravo’s The RHONYC. Reportedly, the former “Wendy Williams Show” host called Cohen last year in May and told him she wanted to be on RHONYC. Andy said no to the idea due to Wendy’s numerous personal issues.
