*Cher is allegedly blowing through her multimillion-dollar fortune on her young lover Alexander “A.E” Edwards.
According to RadarOnline.com, Cher’s friends are said to be concerned over her lavish spending on her boy-toy, who is 40 years younger than the 76-year-old music icon.
The artist is said to be worth an estimated $360 million and Edwards is allegedly reaping the benefits of having a generous sugar momma in the form of Cher.
“Cher’s letting her boyfriend pull all the strings,” said a source. “It’s all about what A.E. and what he wants. She’s been sucked into his lifestyle of parties, late nights, and drinking, and she’s neglecting her friends — mainly because they’re horrified over her behavior.”

The source added, “Cher’s splurging on gifts for her man and when he sees something he likes or wants to purchase, Cher’s Amex comes out.”
The tea spiller continued, “She likes dressing him up in the best clothes. She pays for dinner and limos too,” said the source. “But all this expense adds up and it’s burning a hole through her bank account.”
The Cher insider added, “Cher’s still a wealthy woman with hundreds of millions to her name, but even rich celebs can go broke if they don’t manage their money wisely. And the fear is that could happen to Cher. She used to be a penny-pitcher, but she’s thrown all care out the window.”
We reported previously that Cher hit up social media in December to post a photo of a massive diamond ring, leaving fans wondering if the couple is engaged.
“THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER,A.E.,” she captioned the image on Instagram at the time and noted that Edwards is the one holding the box. The music icon has not confirmed whether the flashy bling symbolizes the very big step they could possibly be taking in their relationship.
As TMZ reports, Cher hasn’t been married since Gregg Allman, from 1975 to 1979, and before him, she was famously married to Sonny Bono for over ten years. Cher and Edwards allegedly met in September and went public as a couple about a month ago. Late last year, Cher confirmed that she is boo’d up with the music executive, who is known for being Amber Rose’s baby daddy.
In a series of recent comments on Twitter, Cher defended her romance with 36-year-old Edwards, Page Six reports. It all began when she posted an image of him and captioned it “Alexander,” along with a heart emoji.
Fans were quick to share their concern about feeling “suspicious of [Edwards’] intentions,” with Cher. The singer responded, “As we All Know …I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY,& What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees.”.
“Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance,” she continued. “I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am”.
She also acknowledged their 40-year age gap, saying “Love doesn’t know math, it sees,” Cher wrote in a since-deleted post.
According to RadarOnline, Cher and Alexander are planning a private Las Vegas wedding. Cher’s sons, Chaz Bono, 53, and Elijah Blue Allman, 46, do not approve of their mother’s relationship with Alexander, according to Radar.
“Cher is mad at them she’s ready to cut them out of her life completely,” said a source. “She’s been hell-bent on marrying this guy and is speaking to her lawyers about adjusting her will to make A.E. her sole beneficiary.”
