*Charlamagne tha God has responded to reports that Jada Pinkett Smith’s new memoir “Worthy” is a huge flop.

According to Newsweek, sales of the headline-making book are not as strong as expected.

During the recent press run, Pinkett Smith dropped several bombshells; most surprising was the reveal that she and Will Smith have been separated since 2016. She also claims Tupac proposed to her, and Chris Rock once asked her out on a date.  The memoir also touches on the infamous Oscars slap at the Academy Awards in 2022.

Despite all the pearl-clutching tea spills, “Worthy” is making little impact on multiple bestseller lists, according to multiple reports.

The title dropped to number 81 on Amazon Books’ bestseller list, according to Statista. The book also failed to make the top 100 on the Kindle e-reader chart, Newsweek reports. But Charlamagne tha God is giving the side-eye to the numbers.

On Instagram, Charlamagne shared a screenshot of a New York Times report showing “Worthy” at number three on the New York Times bestsellers list.

“I truly don’t know what’s happening in media anymore,” his post began. “As you can see #Worthy debuted at Number 3 on the @nytimes best sellers list which is HUGE, but when you swipe left you see headlines saying the book is a Flop!!! How is a book debuting at Number 3 on The NY Times best sellers list considered a flop?? One headline said it barely cracked the top ten??? 🤔 I’m truly confused by this. It’s a good thing Halloween is right around the corner because we are truly in some spooky times. NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE TRUTH WHEN THE LIE IS MORE ENTERTAINING, but always remember “Truth will always be truth, regardless of lack of understanding, disbelief or ignorance.” Let’s Discuss……”

Pinkett Smith will go on a cross-country “Worthy Book Tour” in October. The former “A Different World” star also confirmed her Emmy-winning series “Red Table Talk” will be back next year.

“The Red Table is coming back. We are in the works of a situation right now. So next year,” Pinkett Smith responded to a fan during a TalkShopLive stream in partnership with Good Housekeeping on October 14, Revolt reports. “We could not do the Red Table while I was writing this book and while Willow was on her music journey, so we have decided to come back next year.”

Earlier this year, Facebook Watch canceled “Red Table Talk” after five seasons.
