*Netflix is currently hiring, so you better dust off your resume and try your luck. The streamer is looking for a new flight attendant to join its “dream crew.” The salary is also irresistible: it has offered to pay around $385,000 for the suitable candidate, who will be a primary flight attendant for one of Netflix’s super-midsize private jets based out of San Jose, California near the company’s Los Gatos headquarters.
According to the job listing, the new employee will also maintain the stockroom on top of regular duties such as performing pre-flight cabin inspections and conducting safety briefings. Another task expected of the flight attendant is to work flights on a Gulfstream G550 jet as needed.
The candidate will be required to “demonstrate a professional representation of Netflix Aviation at all times while performing the duties of the position.”
If you are planning to apply, ensure you can embrace the giant streamer’s culture and are able “to operate with little direction and a lot of self-motivation.”
You are also expected to be able to help Netflix Aviation provide “confidential air transportation.” You should be able to perform your jobs with “discretion.”

While the company has not quoted the exact compensation range for the successful candidate, it lists the overall market range for similar positions, which currently stands between $60,000 – $385,000. But “a wide range of compensation factors” including skills and experience will ultimately determine the final compensation amount.
You should have the “flexibility to work a varied work schedule including domestic and international travel, often requiring weekend and holiday work days and extended travel periods.” You should also have the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds at a time.
