*“The Best Man” saga lives on!
The movie franchise-turned-TV series is back with “The Best Man: The Final Chapters,” now streaming on Peacock. Original cast members Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Regina Hall, Sanaa Lathan, Harold Perrineau and Terrence Howard are all back to reprise their roles in the series.
For fans of“The Best Man” who have kept up with the story since its debut in 1999, they already know that Harper Stewart and Jordan Armstrong played by Diggs and Long, have a close bond that continues in the new show.
“It’s more of the same,” Diggs said. “We’re consistent in each other’s lives.”

Long, on the other hand, see’s her character Jordan as more of a “spectator” in Harper’s life this time around.
“I feel like I’m a spectator in your life in this; until the end,” Long said. “I feel like there’s distance and then there’s not.”
Diggs explained that Jordan is “always on Harper’s mind.”
“We’re always with each other,” he said. “It’s just trying to figure out when we can be with each other; if you get my drift.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah it’s always present,” Long said. “I would agree.”
