*After video surfaced showing Millennials ignoring coronavirus social distancing warnings and crowding beaches in Florida, the state’s U.S. senator (and former governor) went on CNN to send them a message.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) spoke to the network Thursday after various news outlets interviewed young spring breakers in Miami who laughed off the dangers of gathering in large crowds during the pandemic.

“If I get corona, I get corona,” declared Brady Sluder. “At the end of the day, I’m not gonna let it stop me from partying. You know, I’ve been waiting, we’ve been waiting for Miami spring break for a while, about two months we’ve had this trip planned, two, three months, and we’re just out here having a good time. Whatever happens, happens.”

Addressing the ignorance, Scott said on CNN Thursday, “Get off the beach. I mean, unless you can figure out how to completely be isolated from anybody else … individuals have got to take responsibility. …What are you thinking? Stop doing it! Now!”
