MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum and BobblesGalore unveiled an officially licensed, limited-edition bobblehead featuring Milwaukee Bucks’ superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, waving the Greek flag.

Known as the “Greek Freak,” Giannis has led the Bucks to the Eastern Conference Finals and is a finalist for the 2018-2019 Most Valuable Player award after leading the Bucks to the NBA’s best record, averaging 30.4 points, 6.5 assists and 13.7 rebounds per game this season.

The limited edition bobbleheads, which are individually numbered to only 360, are in stock and ship now. The bobbleheads can be purchased in the Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store, on BobblesGalore.com or at the Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st St. in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood. The bobbleheads are $50 each with a flat rate shipping charge of $8 per order and were produced exclusively for BobblesGalore and the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum by FOCO.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was born in Athens, Greece in December of 1994, shortly after his parents immigrated from Nigeria. Though he and three of his brothers were born in Greece, they did not automatically qualify for Greek citizenship. Until he was 18, Giannis was effectively stateless, having no papers from Greece or Nigeria. Kicking off his love for basketball in 2007, Giannis began playing competitively for the youth squad Filathlitikos by 2009 and later their senior squad.

The Milwaukee Bucks selected Giannis with the 15th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft. At the time, Giannis was virtually unknown to fans, but his presence both on and off the court has made him one of the NBA’s biggest stars. Since debuting in the NBA at age 19 in the 2013-2014 season, Giannis has been named an All-Star three times and has been selected for All-NBA honors two times. He’s a favorite to win the 2018-2019 Most Valuable Player award after leading the Bucks to the NBA’s best record, averaging 30.4 points, 6.5 assists and 13.7 rebounds per game.
