*If you’re a fan of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” tonight you’re gonna meet the newest housewife. That would be Atlanta business woman (and techie) Tanya Sam.
According to Page Six, Sam will be making her appearance on “RHOA” tonight alongside Kandi Burrus, Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille and Cynthia Bailey.
OK, now you’re probably wondering just who is Tanya Sam. She is the Director of Partnerships at TechSquare Labs, which is “a technology startup hub and venture capital fund,” according to her website. Sam is also the co-founder of BuiltxWomen, which helps female entrepreneurs start their businesses. She is also on the Board of Directors for Kate’s Club, an organization that helps children who have lost a parent or a sibling, according to Madamenoire.
With a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Biology from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Toronto under her belt, Ms Sam is no joke, as far as being educated. Whether she’ll be a “joke” on “RHOA” is still to be seen as the season progresses. Well, here’s clue:
“It’s Tanya Time this season,” Sam told Page Six. “Get ready for a wild ride!”
Hmm, that doesn’t sound like she’s gonna be a pushover.

We’ve also learned that Sam, a Toronto native, is engaged to investor and entrepreneur Dr. Paul Judge.
Sam seems to be excited about being a part of the cast and plans to stir things up a little.
Sam, who has Ghanian and British roots, is ready to “expand the ‘Housewife’ image, stamp out her identity as a successful woman of color and owner/investor in successful multi-million-dollar enterprises” while “giving loyal fans a dose of Atlanta charm by way of Toronto.”
