Don’t Buy Where You Can’t Work – The Journal of Steffanie Rivers | WATCH

*Walmart is one of those retail stores that has just about anything you could want. That’s why millions of people from various backgrounds shop there in-person or online.

But there’s one thing you won’t find at Walmart: A DEI program.

The corporation has bowed to conservative critics who claim DEI programs are a form of reverse racism.

These are the same people who deny racism exists.

These are the same conservatives who claim to be Christian but support a man for president who was convicted of assaulting a woman, convicted of lying, cheating on his taxes, and scamming people. They can get behind that!

Walmart is one of the largest retailers in the United States. They spend advertising dollars to influence you to spend your money with them.

Yet, they no longer see the value of spending time and money to make sure their management staff and employees are as diverse as the people who shop there. They’re not the only ones.

While Walmart excels at providing a vast array of products that cater to diverse communities, the absence of a robust Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program reveals a troubling disconnect between their commitment to customer diversity and internal representation, reflecting a broader trend among corporations that prioritize profit over essential social responsibility, thereby undermining the values of inclusivity and fairness that many consumers they serve genuinely advocate for and believe in.

Click the video above to find out what other companies have scaled back DEI programs to appease conservative critics, and what you can do about it.
