
*NLE Choppa ventured into directing by releasing his version of “The Wash,” inspired by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s original comedy.
Choppa’s project titled “NLE Choppa Presents: The Wash” featured Lil Wayne and several social media influencers. According to TMZ, the unscripted film premiered on YouTube, with Choppa co-directing with Ben Marc. The cast also includes raunchy rapper Sukihana and others who improvised their roles.
Warner Records held a premiere event in Los Angeles, attended by stars like Amber Rose and Dreezy. The movie garnered over 1 million views in four days. You can watch “NLE Choppa Presents: The Wash” in its entirety above.
Dre and Snoop’s “The Wash” was written, produced, and directed by DJ Pooh and featured appearances by Eminem, Ludacris, Kurupt, Shaquille O’Neal, Xzibit, and Pauly Shore. The film follows two mismatched roommates (Dogg and Dr. Dre) working at a car wash who must work together to save their boss when he is kidnapped. The movie earned $10 million at the box office on a $7 million budget.
