*Kevin Hart is going back in the day to clear his character’s name in the trailer for the Peacock’s new crime drama limited series “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.”
Based on the acclaimed iHeart true-crime podcast of the same name or rather “some s— that really happened,” the show centers around Hart’s character, Chicken Man, a hustler who hosts an afterparty celebrating Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight.
A guest list comprised of the country’s wealthiest round out the event before the night ends with “… the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history.” Citing the series’ logline, Entertainment Weekly reports the happenings that take place change one man’s life and ultimately transform Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.”
