*Kevin Hart is seemingly in full confession mode, thanks to new information that goes deeper into the night he cheated on his pregnant wife Eniko. According to Cassius Life, that fateful weekend, in which Hart admitted to his infidelity after a blackmail scheme to extort money from him came to light, also found Hart confessing that he was on Molly the whole time things went down.
Details of the new development are documented in a deposition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Aug. 6, as part of the funnyman’s former friend Jonathan “JT” Jackson’s lawsuit against him. Hart confessed that one of his friends, whom he did not name, pressured him into taking Molly.
Despite telling his friend, “Nah, drugs aren’t really my thing,” The ” Ride Along” film fixture eventually gave in, saying, “F–- it,” and dropped the drug into his drink. In Hart’s eyes, he’d be fine since his drink was purposely watered down..
“The night is good,” the 45-year-old comedian/actor said regarding his thoughts at the time.
During his deposition, Hart detailed his meeting with Montia Sabbag, the woman he would later have relations with. Hart stated brought Sabbag and another woman named Morgan back to his hotel room. After Morgan left, Hart and Sabbag went to bed.
During his time with Sabbag, Hart further revealed that during their encounter, he realized in hindsight that Sabbag was trying to get closer to a hidden camera that ended up recording their episode. That same tape was later used to extort him for millions, Cassius reported.
Building off that, Hart mentioned his belief that someone planted the camera beforehand because he swears he never noticed Sabbag getting out of bed.
Ultimately, Jackson was arrested and charged with two felony extortion charges. The charges were dropped in 2021. Despite being linked by various emails used to threaten Hart that were linked to him, Jackson says he is innocent. Hence, the basis for his lawsuit.
Jackson is suing Hart for more than $12 million in damages, in addition to requesting a trial.
News of Hart’s Molly experience is a wrinkle in an otherwise interesting time in the entertainer’s professional life.
Cassius notes, that the “Night School,” star recently finished doing commentary for the Summer Olympics, hosting recaps with Kenan Thompson. Adding to his good fortune are recently announced plans underway to pair with Taraji P. Henson for the new show Morewood Family Rules as well as the Sept. 5 premiere of the Peacock limited series “Fight Night,” which he and Henson star alongside Don Cheadle and Terrence Howard.
