Regarding the shooting, one of the aspects is that Trump wasn’t actually shot. Instead, his injury was caused by glass shards from his teleprompter.
Contrary to Trump’s own account, which he posted on Truth Social, officials informed Newsmax’s Alex Salvi and Axios’ Juliegrace Brufke that the former President was not grazed by a bullet but by glass shards.
These shards are believed to have originated from a teleprompter that shattered upon being hit by gunfire, according to reports from Raw Story. Trump had stated that his ear was grazed by a bullet, adding a dramatic edge to an already intense situation.
The incident took a deadly turn when law enforcement confirmed that the person suspected of firing the weapon was killed during the event, along with at least one other person in the crowd. Videos from the rally capture a fraught scene in which Trump is seen grabbing his neck amidst the sound of gunshots, before being swiftly pulled to the ground and escorted to a hospital by Secret Service agents for treatment.
