*Drake hit up social media recently to post photos of Solange and Aaliyah and fans think he’s taking jabs at Jay-Z.
In one Instagram Story, shared on X by user @itsavibe, Drake posted a screenshot of Solange after she slapped Jay-Z in the infamous elevator incident with his wife Beyonce in 2014. In the comments, one person wrote, “Jay Z bouta tell Kendrick to make sure he plays Not Like Us and Like That at the Super Bowl.”Another user added, “Jay z need to worry about all those diddy parties he enjoyed.”
In the second IG Story, shared on X by user @mukzsRAP, Drake published a photo of Aaliyah holding a dog. Jigga has been romantically linked to the late singer for years. Jay’s former Roc-A-Fella Records partner Damon Dash revealed during an interview on the That’s F-cked Up podcast that they both tried to date the songstress.
Drake and Jay have collaborated on several songs but as Cassius Life reports, the duo have been beefing since 2014 when Drake said in a Rolling Stone article, “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references.” Jay responded in a remix to “We Made It,” calling him “Mrs. Drizzy.”

Speaking on the Drake’s issues with JAY-Z, one X user said, “Not sure if this is the game he wants to play.” Another person commented, “Drake extremely does not want it with Jay Z. he would not nearly be as nice as Kendrick Lamar was and Kendrick went nuts.”
Earlier this year, Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us” debuted atop the Hot 100 and became a summer anthem.
On the track, Lamar accuses Drake of being a pedophile and calls the biracial artist a “colonizer” with the lyrics: “Say Drake, I hear you like ‘em young / You better not have to go to Cell Block One,” and “You run to Atlanta when you need a few dollars/ You not a colleague, you a fuckin’ colonizer/ The family matter, and the truth of the matter/ It was God’s Plan to show you’re a liar.”
Lamar previosuly released the diss track “Euphoria,” days after Drake took aim at Kendrick in “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Throughout the 6-minute song, Lamar calls out Drake’s racial identity and sexuality and accuses him of being a bad parent to his minor son.
