*Reality star Chrisean Rock was baptized at Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma over the weekend.
The rapper shared a video of her baptismal on social media and captioned the clip with a heartfelt message that read: “Gracious God, today I rejoice in the promise of new life that baptism symbolizes. Thank You for cleansing my heart and welcoming me into Your family. As I rise from these waters, may I walk in the light of Your Spirit and grow in the love of Christ each day. Guide my steps, uphold me in faith, and help me to live out Your truth in all I do. Amen.”
Several fans are questioning the authenticity of her seemingly newfound spiritual journey, given Rock’s well-known ‘IDGAF’ attitude and party-girl persona. They point out that this is the same person who reportedly drank and used drugs during her pregnancy, leading to allegations that her son was born with birth defects that she allegedly did not seek medical attention for.
Rock’s Instagram followers had mixed reactions to her baptism video, with one person writing, “Are yall serious for real … she keep playing in gods face all day and it’s sickening…” Another added, “Until you take Junior to a specialist we don’t care.”
“The one thing I don’t get, is why do folks get baptized over and over again “givin’ themselves ” to God but keeps doing the same thing over and over again?? Isn’t that being a WILLFULL SINNER? Just saying,’” another critic wrote in the comments of Rock’s post.
“U fake u lied and u tried to end ur sister’s career and was laughed like a villain,” someone else added, referring to the latest episode of Zeus Network’s “Baddies: Midwest,” where Rock had viewers clutching their pearls when she asked her older sister Tesehki if she remembers forcing her to perform oral sex on her when they were minors.
According to Chrisean, she was age seven and Tesehki 12 when the alleged incident occurred.
“You said what?!,” Tesehki responded to Rock’s accusation before adding, “I’m done talking…B***h, you’re going to jail — defamation!” Watch the moment in the trailer above.
After the incident gained attention online, Tesehki provided additional context on Instagram by sharing footage from a #throwback Instagram Live session with Chrisean and another woman. In the video, Rock empathizes with them over the abuse they experienced as children and clarifies that she did not go through the same experience. “Y’all went through some sh*t,” she told Tesehki and the other woman. “I never personally went through something that took my childhood away.”
Tesehki noted in her IG post that she was deeply hurt by Rock’s accusation.
“This shhh hurt on a whole diff level,” she wrote. “How you trying [to] take me an Chas trauma and say it’s yours…”
In the post’s comments, Tesehki accused Chrisean of fabricating these allegations to attract attention and boost viewership as part of a publicity stunt.
