*We sat down with Arlen Escarpeta, who stars as ‘Zeke Wallace’ in NBC’s hit drama series “Found” to dish about the highly-anticipated second season premiering on Thursday, October 3.
Escarpeta shared exciting insights about his character’s evolution and the intense storylines to come. “Found” follows PR specialist Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton) and her crisis management team as they tirelessly search for missing people who often don’t receive media attention—while Gabi secretly harbors a chilling mystery of her own. “She’s been secretly solving cases with the help of Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the man who kidnapped Gabi as a teen and is now himself a captive in Gabi’s basement,” per NBC.com.
Here’s the official Season 2 synopsis: “In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about. Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely (series star and producer Shanola Hampton), who was once herself one of those forgotten ones, and her crisis management team make sure there is always someone looking out for the missing. Gabi, however, has a chilling secret: In the midst of grief, she imprisoned her childhood kidnapper, Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). Now Sir has escaped and is on the loose, and her biggest secret is now her biggest threat.”
Lisa Katz, president scripted content at NBCUniversal Entertainment, called the series “a testament to the incredibly passionate work” of showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll, per THR.
Arlen’s character Zeke struggles with agoraphobia and is unable to leave his home. As a result, he assists Mosely and her crisis management team remotely from the safety of his apartment, helping them in their mission to bring the missing back home. The highly-anticipated second season of “Found” premieres Thursday, October 3rd at 10 pm ET on NBC.
