*Migos rapper Offset is not biologically related to Quavo or late bandmate Takeoff, according to a new Variety cover story.
As Complex reports, Offset apparently didn’t say this directly in the interview with the publication but writers of the piece state “although Offset is often referred to as Quavo’s cousin, they are actually not biologically related.”
It has long been speculated that the Migos members are blood-related but only Quavo and Takeoff are kin. Offset first met the duo in middle school. After Takeoff’s death in November 2022, the “Clout” rapper had his face tattooed on his back.
“It’s my favorite picture of him,” Offset told Variety. “I like it because he had his glasses off.”

The hip-hop star is still grieving the death of his bandmate.
“It’s hard for me to talk about sh*t right now,” Offset said, Complex reports.
“I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this shit is hard. That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That shit hurts. Like, it’s gonna put me in a mood, and I don’t want to get in that mood.”
He added, “Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here. That shit feels fake, bro, I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, the 31-year-old star revealed that he kicked his codeine habit.
“I put down lean,” he shared. “I was drinking my whole career. It opened my mind up, but I never thought it helped me create. I feel like getting past that, cleaning up, and putting that message out.”
