*Kanye West (officially known as Ye) intends to run for US president in 2024. The hip-hop star posted a video of his campaign logo to social media, and the move marks his political comeback following his failed presidential run in 2020.
We reported earlier that Ye reached out to former President Donald Trump to be his running mate, which he declined.
As reported by EUR’s Yolanda Baruch, Ye caused social media waves when a video captured him walking through Miami International Airport with Nick Fuentes, who is described as a white supremacist by the Justice Department. Supposedly, the two men wearing blue jackets in the video were scheduled to meet with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
In a video titled Mar-A-Lago Debrief, West claimed: “I think the thing Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president,” Ye told far right-pundit Milo Yiannopoulos. “I think that was lower on the list of things that caught him off guard. When Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose, I mean has that ever worked for anyone in history? I’m like whoa hold on, hold on, hold on. You’re talking to Ye.”

The launch of West’s presidential campaign comes after the rapper was brandished as an anti-Semite and dropped by several high-end brands and fashion labels. He also provoked a storm of criticism after attending Paris Fashion Week in a T-shirt bearing the slogan “White Lives Matter”.
Ye continues to slam the Jewish elite who he claims controls the media and his comments prompted his talent agency to drop him while Gap, Adidas, and Balenciaga also severed ties with the artist. The musician claims the fallout caused him to lose “two billion dollars in one day”.
Meanwhile, for his 2024 presidential bid, Ye has allegedly enlisted controversial alt-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos as his campaign manager.
One Twitter user noted that the canceling of Ye has “definitely pushed him even more to the right”.
