Martin Lawrence Drops New Merchandise Collection Inspired by His Standup Career

*Martin Lawrence is paying homage to his career as a standup comic with a new merchandise line, available now via martinlawrencestore.com.

As reported by Complex, Martin’s collection includes “bootleg ’90s rap tour designs and images from Martin’s heyday splashed over a number of fresh tees. Also included are a number of references to Martin, ranging from characters like Roscoe and Sheneneh as well as sayings and other characters adorning t-shirts, hoodies, blankets, and socks,” the outlet writes.

“You’ve been asking,” Martin told Complex, “and now it’s here, the launch of my official Martin Lawrence store. I’m excited to share that the store launches today and features all sorts of gear, including sweatshirts, socks, and blankets, some of which include your favorite Martin quotes and characters paying homage to the Martin lifestyle.”

Martin explained that he “got involved with the merchandise because I saw a lot of people wearing my designs.”

Adding, “It’s been a few years since I’ve been thinking about opening it online. I partnered with Get Engaged on the project to make it come alive,” he explained.

“The whole collection means a lot to me because it generates from Martin,” Martin added.

According to Deadline, the Washington D.C.-set show comes from writer Patrick Aison and will revolve around best friends Bobby and Dice, played by Lawrence and Snoop Dogg, who are running a “high stakes game of personal favors and political intrigue in Washington D.C.,” the outlet writes.

Lawrence and Snoop last appeared together in Harmony Korine’s “The Beach Bum.”
