Teyana Taylor Has Home Birth in Bathroom, Welcomes Second Daughter with Husband Iman Shumpert [VIDEO]

*Teyana Taylor has given birth for the second time inside her family home.

The singer/actress/model, 29, and her NBA star husband Iman Shumpert, welcomed their second child on Sunday morning, the couple announced on social media. 

Daughter Rue Rose Shumpert was born in the family’s bathroom, just as the couple’s first daughter Iman Tayla (a.k.a. Junie) had been almost five years ago.

“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit. She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!!,” Shumpert, 30, wrote in the caption of his announcement on Instagram.

Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy… but not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital! Taylor also shared the same message in her post announcing the birth. She added, “We love you Rue, welcome baby girl @babyruerose.”

Taylor revealed her pregnancy with her second child in the June music video for her song “Wake Up Love.”

“We’re ready, and we’re very excited,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “Iman is super excited. Junie is ecstatic — I’m talking super ecstatic. Everybody is just excited. I can’t wait. I’ve got three more months left until we meet our little princess.”

In related news, theJasmineBRAND reports that Teyana Taylor is shooting a new reality show with her  and family. Full details about the show have yet to be released but sources claim that filming is allegedly underway in Atlanta.
