*Remember reports earlier this year about Donald Trump polling better than expected among Black men? Welp somebody found them.
A conservative outlet interviewed a group of Black conservatives in California vowing support for Trump and calling Black Lives Matter a “fake” movement that tries to pull the Black man away from the traditional nuclear family.
“As you can see, black conservatism is the new punk rock,” said Trump supporter Nick Cunningham in the video.
Another, who goes by MAGA Hulk, added “We’re the rebels! You wanna be cool, come join our cause.”
In the video below, the group basically regurgitated talking points espoused on conservative radio. For example, one of them argued, “If BLM really cared about Black lives, why would it be solely isolated to incidents where a Black life is taken at the hands of a white cop?” noting “That happens less than one percent.”
They also appear to subscribe to Kanye West’s notion that Black Democrats are “sheep” blindly supporting a political party that pushes a victim mentality.
“I’m a proud Black American. I’m not oppressed,” the guy continued in the video, adding “I’m one of the freest persons in this world.”
