Beyhive Welcomes Chico, a Singing Parrot Who Nails Beyoncé’s ‘If I Were A Boy’ (Watch)

*A parrot has been revealed to be part of the Beyhive after video of him singing Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy” with startling accuracy has gone viral.

The 9-year-old Yellow-crowned Amazon named Chico is already a fan favorite at England’s Lincolnshire Wildlife Park for singing tunes from Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. But he’s recently upped his game with Bey’s 2008 track, delivering a near perfect rendition of the first few lines – complete with vibrato!

You can’t tell this parrot it ain’t croonin! Chico’s also known for his covers of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face,” Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Gnarls Barkley’s “You Drive Me Crazy,” according to his previous owner.

FYI: Yellow-crowned parrots are among the few birds in existence able to uncannily imitate and deliver human speech.
