Starz Orders Third ‘Power’ Spinoff Starring Joseph Sikora

*Starz has given a series order to the third spinoff of “Power” which will find Joseph Sikora reprising his character Tommy Egan.

“Power Book IV: Force” will center on Egan after he “cuts ties and puts New York in his rearview mirror for good,” according to Starz.

We previously reported… three new “Power” spinoffs are in the works, titled “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” “Power Book IV: Influence,”  and “Power Book V: Force.” The spinoffs have since been reordered, with “Influence” now set as “Power Book V,” per TheWrap

The first spinoff in the franchise, “Power Book II: Ghost,” stars Mary J. Blige and Method Man, and is set to premiere this fall. The rapper will “portray ambitious and savvy attorney Davis Maclean, who is attracted to the NYC underworld run by Blige’s character, but may find himself entrapped by some secrets from his past,” Deadline writes.

Starz has dropped a 30-second teaser for “Power Book 2: Ghost,” which follows the impact the events in the “Power” finale had on Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) and his mother Tasha (Naturi Naughton).

The trailer also gives viewers the first glimpse of the spin-off’s new characters, including Mary J. Blige. 

“Power Book 2: Ghost” will focus on the events that go down 48 hours after the series finale of “Power.”

The series is set to premiere on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

“Ghost” will be split into two parts consisting of five episodes each, the second half of which is set to air later this year.

“Power Book III: Kanan,” a prequel story set in the ’90s, is set for a 2021 premiere.
