Tanisha Quilter-Williams’ ‘Forties AF’ Fiction-Drama Podcast Drops 08-21-20

Forties AF

*Los Angeles, CA – The Forties AF dramedy podcast written, produced and directed by Tanisha Quilter-Williams, will launch on Friday, August 21, 2020. Forties AF is a sexy, sassy, drama fictional podcast about three forty-something single friends and their life experiences.

The passing of each year brings the weight of expectations we can’t untangle from reality. Tanisha says, “society makes us feel that we have to have it all together at forty plus, and maybe we should. We’re still living, growing, learning, and really, this is the best time to reinvent ourselves”. She continues to say, “but someday, if not now, you’re going to be Forty As F**k.”

Tanisha Quilter-Williams career spans from working as journalist and assignment story editor for major media outlets for Inside Edition, E! Entertainment, and US Weekly. Her experiences have landed her on the red-carpet interviewing A-list celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Denzel Washington, and Kelsey Grammar. Tanisha played a significant part in bringing one of the major headline news stories to US Weekly magazine, covering the Levi Johnston and Bristol Pain engagement. After her career in journalism, Tanisha decided to step away and pursue her passion as a screenwriter; later, she went back to obtain her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside, in her forties. Williams says that “I hadn’t fully realized my dream of being a paid screenwriter, I wasn’t married, and I didn’t have any children, which is what the American Dream is supposed to be, right? Wrong!”

Forties AF is a podcast that will alleviate societal pressures in feeling like you’re falling behind the age gap of not obtaining a college degree, not yet married with children, haven’t written a book, or traveling the world. The famous one, the thought of feeling like you are behind in your career compared to others. Let’s make this clear to all the middle-aged folks, who think they aren’t where they need to be; it’s not about age; it’s about adaptability. You’re never too old to create the life you

want to live, at any age you can still launch that business you wish, have the career you want, write that book and, etc. Don’t let age stop you from your passion. So, let’s laugh out loud, tune into the Forties AF podcast, and choose not to be molded by the status quo.
