‘Jesus is King’ Nets Kanye West 3 Dove Awards Nominations

#KanyeWest has a lot on his plate these days, specifically his highly controversial presidential run—but it he has also just been acknowledged for his latest album.

The 51st annual Dove Award nominations were recently announced and Kanye scored multiple nominations for his chart-topping gospel album “Jesus Is King.”

@Variety reports, the Gospel Music Association announced the nominations for the 2020 Dove Awards earlier today and first-time nominee Kanye West earned three nominations for his highly successful hit gospel album “Jesus Is King.” The album debuted at the top of the gospel charts back in November and remained there for several weeks.
