*The 2020 “Imagination Lunchbox International Children’s Film Fest” (ILICFF) recently announced the winners of  the “Best Films Made BY Kids” and “Best Film Made FOR Kids” Awards. The community screening event was opened to the world this year because it was held at the Euble Blake Center in Baltimore via Zoom video conferencing. Attendees from as far as Spain and Japan were able to join the event. The ILICFF event was co-hosted by founder Anthony Michael Hobbs (Anthony-Michael.com) and radio personality Doresa Harvey (Magic 95.9FM). Eubie Blake Director Derek Price opened the event.

Twenty-one short films were screened during ILICFF – 11 made by youth and 10 made for youth. During the intermission a trivia contest was held with winner Anne-Sophie receiving branded merchandise (cups, hoodies, tank tops and socks) from Imagination Lunchbox, LLC – producers of the “Imagination Lunchbox International Children’s Film Fest”.

Attending the screening of the short films was free to the public thanks to the ILICFF partnership with Imagination Lunchbox, LLC, the Eubie Blake Center, and The Baltimore Times’ Foundation, Times Community Services. Four winners were selected in total, which includes also “Festival Choice Award” and the “Most Uplifting Film” Award – sponsored by the “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference.
